About Joshua

Joshua is a young actor with a passion for his craft which began at the age of 7, when he was in a local production of The Sound of Music. He grew up in the theatre, and since then, acting and singing have been a part of who he is. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with an emphasis in acting from Arkansas State University. In his time there he took the stage in a wide variety of roles such as Orlando in As You Like It, William Barfee in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods.

Apart from the educational stage, Joshua is currently a cast member with the murder mystery improv show, Dinner Detective, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He also has a number of professional credits including work with The Link Theatre Company, where he worked alongside Broadway talent, under the direction of Matt Cavenaugh.

Joshua’s studies have provided him great opportunities to work with many brilliant people. He has studied vocal performance under Matthew Carey for four years, taken an Acting in Song class taught by Broadway’s very own Jenny Powers, and was even able to spend the summer of 2019 studying at The Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

With years of training and experience, Joshua is eager to begin further developing his ability, and is always willing to work hard to do so.
